The ‘Kids Cruise Free’ offer of Holland America arrives ahead of the holiday season, enabling families to take their children on a cruise for free. This is one way travel companies are boosting revenues in anticipation of the holidays.-
The “all-inclusive family cruises 2021” is a cruise that will sail from San Diego to the Mexican Riviera. Holland America has announced that they are offering their Kids Cruise Free, which includes all meals and entertainment for kids under 12.
Holland America Line has launched a “Kids Cruise Free” campaign, just in time for families to start planning their end-of-year vacations. Children aged five to seven traveling as the third and fourth passengers in the same cabin are eligible for a complimentary cruise.
If your family would rather spend a frigid winter holiday at home than in the balmy seas of Mexico or the Caribbean, you must book by November 18 to take advantage of this great deal. Except for Alaska Cruisetours and Grand World Voyages, the offer is valid on select holiday sailings and other voyages planned until May 31, 2022. There is also a maximum of two free children sailing per qualified ticket.
What’s Hot Right Now
In a news statement, Holland America Line President Gus Antorcha remarked, “Now that kids aged five and older may get the COVID-19 vaccination, going out and experiencing the globe is on everyone’s mind.” “A multigenerational cruise is the ideal way to reintroduce travel to our family, and we can’t wait to greet our younger friends and share the joy of being able to explore the globe together once again.”
Holland America ships, including the Pinnacle Class Rotterdam and Nieuw Statendam, and the Signature Class Eurodam and Nieuw Amsterdam, will continue to explore Mexican and Caribbean waters from their East Coast homeports once the Christmas season is over. Meanwhile, the Koningsdam and Zuiderdam will cruise across Hawaii, down the California coast, and into Mexico, even passing through the Panama Canal.
Eurodam, Koningsdam, and Zuiderdam will be sailing in Alaska in late spring 2022, the Zaandam will be cruising in Canada/New England, and Nieuw Statendam and Rotterdam will be traveling in Europe.
On spring departures through May 2022, families may take advantage of the same ‘Kids Cruise Free’ deal.

Cruise rates start at $549 per person, double occupancy, for holiday sailings. For an additional cost, guests may upgrade to ‘Have it All’ prices, which include two shore excursions, a Signature Beverage Package, two nights’ speciality meals at Pinnacle Grill, Canaletto, or Tamarind (depending on ship), and a Wi-Fi Surf Package to keep connected during the voyage.
