The new Seabourn Ovation, the first luxury cruise ship of its kind to debut in North America, has arrived in Miami. The 4-star vessel features a collection of amenities and activities that will make everyone feel like they are on vacation even when it’s time for work.

The “seabourn ovation capacity” is a luxury cruise ship that has just arrived in the U.S. for the first time. The ship will be sailing from Miami to Key West, and then to Cozumel, Mexico.

Seabourn’s newest ship, Seabourn Ovation, landed in her new homeport in Miami, Florida, after crossing the Atlantic Ocean. The ultra-luxury ship, which can seat just 604 passengers, will go on a number of voyages across the area, including trips to the Caribbean, the Panama Canal, and Central America.

The Seabourn Ovation Has Arrived At Her New Residence

On November 18, 2021, Seabourn Ovation landed at her new homeport of Miami, Florida, after a 12-day Atlantic journey that included a day in Funchal, Madeira. The ship will make PortMiami her new home port for a series of voyages that will take her around the whole area.

“For every Seabourn ship, a first-time arrival is always unique, and Seabourn Ovation’s first visit to the United States and Miami will be a terrific start to an exciting season for our newest ship among the tropical splendor of the Caribbean and Central America,” said Seabourn president Josh Leibowitz. “As winter sets in over those portions of the globe, Miami provides an easily accessible port for North American and European visitors, making it a suitable retreat.”

Despite being modest in comparison to some of the mega-ships, the ship’s passengers can expect to be treated both aboard and onshore. Guests can anticipate luxurious luxury aboard Seabourn Ovation, with free Caviar and champagne, a ship built by acclaimed designer Adam Tihany, and restaurants and meals created by iconic chef Thomas Keller.

Onboard the Seabourn Ovation, cruises are available.

Caribbean cruises aboard the luxury ship are off to a strong start, with ports of call including San Juan, Puerto Rico; Dominica; St. Johns, Antigua and Barbuda; Saint Kitts and Nevis; and Great Harbour of Jost Van Dyke.

Add in a marina day with watersports from the ship’s retractable Marina platform in the stern, and the cruise line’s Caviar in the Surf, where staff members feed you Caviar and champagne in the balmy waves of the Caribbean.

Seabourn Ovation will be sailing the Panama Canal and Central America for those who wish to go a bit farther. The inaugural 21-day cruise leaves Miami on December 21 and will stop in Aruba, Curacao, the Panama Canal, Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Mexico. The voyage will culminate in Los Angeles, from where the ship will embark on a 19-day journey back to the United States, stopping in Jamaica and Colombia along the way.

Other cruises to Central America include stops in Costa Rica, Belize, and Panama, as well as excursions to ancient Mayan civilizations in Mexico. A (partial) crossing of the Panama Canal is included in Central American cruises.

What Has Happened to Seabourn’s Luxury Ship Fleet?

Only two of the six Seabourn cruise ships are presently in service. Seabourn Odyssey, in addition to Seabourn Ovation, sails the Caribbean from Bridgetown, Barbados, and Phillipsburg, St. Maarten.

Seabourn Encore, Ovation’s sister ship, will begin service in the Canary Islands in February 2022. The Seabourn Quest will cruise the Mediterranean again in May 2022, departing from Barcelona and Venice.

In June 2022, the Seabourn Sojourn will begin service, sailing the Mediterranean between Piraeus, Greece, and Valletta, Malta. Finally, in April 2022, the cruise line’s first adventure ship, Seabourn Venture, will set sail for the first time, exploring the UK and Norwegian coastlines as well as Svalbard.
